Royal Perth Hospital is located on Wellington Street, Perth.

MPS were engaged as Head Contractor to replace the “R Block” cooling towers. The scope of work involved the demolition of the existing 30 year old crossflow cooling towers, replacing them with the modern design of counter flow cooling towers, as well as upgrading the pipework and controls systems.

All the works were carried out in a fully operational hospital environment. The projectwas carefully planned to ensure construction activities such as noise, dust, deliveries, cranage etc. did not impact the operation of the hospital, its patients or the surrounding environment.

This project was completed in February 2017.
