Rio Tinto Remote Operations Centre (ROC)

Location: Perth Airport

The centre comprises of a 4000 metre square operations floor, two 600 metre square data centres, IT facility, meeting and conference facilities.

MPS has been contracted to maintain the mechanical services within the building. MPS have an on call pager dedicated to the Remote Operations Centre. The on call technician is the first point of call for any after hours emergency and is responsible for coordinating other trades.

MPS conducts Systems Inteface Testing (SIT) and Essential Safety Measures Audits (ESM) annually together with the building fire contactors and a third party auditor. The SIT and ESM are carried out in accordance with AS1851.
