The Next DC Data Centre is located in Malaga. MPS was engaged to supply and install mechanical services to the Data Halls 3 & 4 which included:

1 x Cooling Tower including extension of stainless steel pipework
2 x Air handling units with humidity control
1 x Chilled water ring main
5 x Free issue track units
1 x Transformer room fan coil unit and ventilation system
2 x MSSB’s

The building remained fully occupied and operational during these works. This project presented a number of challenges including being carried out in a live data hall environment. Awareness of live systems and security were paramount to the smooth delivery of the project.

This project utilised BIM software to LOD 500. The services were coordinated in a 3D environment to ensure accuracy of install and efficient delivery of the project.
