MPS partnered with the Shell V-Power Racing Team for the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship opening round at Sydney Motorsport Park. It was an incredible weekend filled with determination and resilience! The Thrifty Sydney 500 marked an exciting start to the season as the team navigated challenging conditions while showcasing their competitive spirit on the track.
The weekend brought unpredictable weather that pushed every driver and team to their limits. The Shell V-Power Racing Team demonstrated resilience and adaptability from dry tarmac to rain-soaked turns. Perth-born Brodie Kostecki, proudly representing the team in his first season with the iconic number 38, delivered an impressive performance in Race 3. Despite the chaos and challenging conditions, Kostecki’s bold, skilful move late in the race secured a well-earned fourth-place finish.
Meanwhile, Will Davison, behind the wheel of the striking number 17 Mustang, showed strong potential. The team worked tirelessly to adjust their strategy as the track conditions shifted rapidly. Although Cam Waters of Monster Energy Ford claimed victory in all three races, the Shell V-Power Racing Team’s dedication, technical expertise, and strategic agility stood out.
