The Town of Victoria Park Library, located on Sussex Street, Victoria Park, underwent significant upgrades in 2017. MPS was appointed as the Head Contractor for this project, showcasing our expertise in managing complex projects in commercial settings.
The work scope involved demolishing and replacing existing rooftop packaged DX units, DX split systems, and rooftop fans. An advanced, state-of-the-art Building Management System (BMS) was installed to ensure precise control over the new systems and significantly reduce energy consumption.
Before any demolition, MPS conducted a comprehensive dilapidation report, ensuring meticulous planning and execution.
All construction activities were conducted in a live environment, requiring MPS to collaborate closely with the Town of Victoria Park. We developed a precise work program and sequence that aligned with daily operations, thereby minimising disruption to public services.
