MPS was engaged by Royal Perth Hospital, located in Perth, Western Australia, to serve as the Head Contractor for replacing the “R Block” cooling towers. The project involved demolishing the existing 30-year-old crossflow cooling towers and replacing them with modern counterflow cooling towers, alongside upgrading the pipework and control systems.
All work was conducted within a fully operational hospital environment. The project was meticulously planned to ensure that construction activities, including noise, dust, deliveries, and cranage, did not disrupt the hospital’s operations, its patients, or the surrounding environment. This project was completed in February 2017.
