Rio Tinto Echo 1 is located at the Perth Airport, the building is made up of 4 levels and underground basement. MPS is contracted to maintain the mechanical services in the building.

Echo 1 is a 5 star GreenStar rated building and MPS provides weekly meter readings for NABERS and GreenStar reporting. The building is connected to a 500,000 litre chilled water storage tank which provides chilled water during the day. The tank is charged at night during off peak times.

MPS conducts Systems Interface Testing (SIT) and Essential Safety Measures Audits (EMS) annually together with the building fire contractors and third party auditor. The SIT and ESM are carried out in accordance with AS1851.
