Next DC Data Centre – DH 3 & 4 Fitout

The Next DC Data Centre, located in Malaga, Western Australia, worked with MPS to enhance the mechanical services for Data Halls 3 and 4.

Our scope of work included:

Installation of a cooling tower with extended stainless-steel piping
Two air handling units equipped with humidity control
A chilled water ring main system
Five free-issue track units
A transformer room fan coil unit and associated ventilation system
Two main switchboard (MSSB) units

Conducting this project within an active data hall environment required a meticulous approach, particularly in maintaining the functionality and security of existing systems. Our team expertly navigated these challenges to ensure seamless project delivery.

To support this complex project, we utilised Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. This allowed us to model the services in 3D, ensuring precise installation and efficient coordination across all stages of the project.
